Leadership
Our Church thrives because of the energy, skills and dedication of the people who are a part of our leadership. In the Episcopal Church, the Vestry are parish leaders responsible for management of parish property and resources and selecting a rector or priest. The rector is the presiding officer of the vestry. Vestry members are elected at the congregation's annual meeting.

The Rev. Kyle T. Martindale
St. Mark's Church welcomed Rev. Kyle T. Martindale in March 2022.
​
Rev. Kyle serves on the Diocesan Council and as the Chair of the Christian Formation Commission.​
Before coming to St. Mark's he served as Rector of St. Stephen's Church of Pearl River in Rockland County, NY, and as Assistant Rector of All Saints Episcopal Church in Omaha, NE.

The son of an Episcopal priest, Rev. Kyle grew up in Central Nebraska, he is a graduate of Hastings College in Nebraska, where he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science.
He received his Master of Divinity from Virginia Theological Seminary in 2016.

In the summer of 2024, the Vestry called Rev. Kyle to stay as our Rector, which he accepted and has now been approved by the Bishop of New York.
